The "just say no" idea to abstain from drugs and alcohol once seemed simple but not very educational. Now there is a different approach- telling teenagers the TRUTH with a "safety first" mentality.
This curriculum is being tested at Bard High School Early College on Manhattan's Lower East Side to 14 and 15 year olds who watch a video about fentanyl and are taught the truths about the opioid epidemic.
The opioid epidemic is real and only getting worse. Spreading awarenss to the younger generations is a big step towards making an impact.
